Z-8N GTX Ws C boots are tactical footwear for employees of uniformed services, soldiers and private military contractors, they provide comfort during long marches. To ensure a perfect fit, the lasts of the COMBAT BOOT MK2 GTX Ws are specifically designed with the anatomy of the female foot in mind. The LOWA® TACTICAL Z TRAC® sole, made of an optimized rubber compound, provides support and traction even in difficult terrain. The sole combines insulation properties against heat and cold. It is antistatic and resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat. Guaranteed weather protection even in high temperatures is provided by the GORE-TEX membrane with extended shoe comfort. Innovative technology ensures optimal waterproofness and breathability. GORE-TEX technology keeps feet pleasantly dry. Designed for optimal breathability, the Z-8N GTX Ws Ws C shoes guarantee a pleasure to wear even during intense activity and warm weather. Water cannot penetrate the footwear, and the moisture generated inside the shoe escapes through the billions of pores in the GORE-TEX membrane. The GORE-TEX membrane reliably protects against wind and bad weather. Thanks to the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, the midsole of the Z-8N GTX Ws C shoes provides the ultimate in comfort. The 3D midsole construction, made of polyurethane, comfortably hugs the foot and supports it when the shoe wearer ventures over uneven surfaces. For effective cushioning and enhanced comfort, the sole of the Z-8N GTX Ws C shoes is bonded to the upper through a technically demanding injection process, providing exceptional lightness and excellent cushioning. The material called polyurethane is a foam padding with very good shock-absorbing properties. The plastic retains its shape and returns to its original state even when millions of tiny bubbles are frequently squeezed. This in turn creates a good reflection effect. The Z-8N GTX Ws C boots feature closed lacing hooks. They guide the laces very securely and prevent them from catching in contact with objects.
