The inscription "Valhalla Calling" is a contemporary interpretation of the legendary Viking battle cry "Till Valhalla," with which they resolutely went into battle. Every Viking aspired to gain glory in battle and reach Valhalla – Odin's palace, where warriors feasted while waiting for the final battle (Ragnarok).
