The Stalberg 0.8 carpenter's ax, thanks to its straight and long handle and narrow, straight blade, ensures the precision required by every skilled craftsman. The finger notch in the head of the ax allows you to grip where your hand is placed, almost straight over the center of the cutting edge for added precision. The ax is hand forged and made of Swedish quality steel in the forge at Hults Bruk. The tradition of forging dates back to 1697. This ax is named after one of Hults Bruk's most experienced blacksmiths of the first half of the 20th century, Ernst Stålberg. Take care of your ax and it will be a faithful companion for many years.
