The Snugpak® Softie Elite 5 (-15°C / -20°C) sleeping bag is an ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy active time spent in the fresh air. It features synthetic Softie® insulation, which provides warmth even when wet, and excellent compression properties. The inner layer of material is made from Reflectatherm metallized fabric, which reflects body heat, providing at least 15% additional warmth. It is important to note that this layer is imperceptible, as it is hidden under the Paratex Light fabric layer, which provides protection against rain and wind. One of the characteristic features of the Elite series sleeping bags is the built-in expansion panel, which provides greater freedom of movement and allows for temperature adjustment if it gets too warm. This panel can be easily deployed using the instructions found here. Additionally, the length of the sleeping bag can be shortened as needed via two clips located at the bottom, making it an ideal solution for shorter individuals. The internal reinforcement of the foot area provides comfort when sleeping in footwear, and the adjustable hood allows for a customized fit and reduces heat migration from within. The two-way YKK zipper, covered with a thermal strip, additionally protects against the cold, and the zipper is secured with a strip to prevent jamming. The sleeping bag also features two interior pockets for storing essential items. Internal loops allow for easy attachment of the sleeping bag liner. When folded, the sleeping bag can be packed into a special compression sack, which facilitates transport and reduces its size. Remember to store the sleeping bag without the compression sack when not in use to maintain its properties for longer.
