The Norman Windblock Fleece Jacket by M-Tac® is the perfect choice for cool and cold days, thanks to the use of WindBlock material and Softshell inserts. It works excellently as an outer layer of clothing and also serves as additional insulation under a jacket or parka. Made entirely of polyester, the jacket features a unique WindBlock membrane mesh structure, specially designed for low and extremely low temperatures. With this innovative construction, 80% of body heat is reflected from the surface to the interior, while only 20% (excess heat during activity in low temperatures) is dissipated through the membrane mesh. Unlike many modern membrane fabrics with surface-applied polyurethane spray, the WindBlock jacket avoids this issue by not using polyurethane spraying on the membrane. Instead, dense polyester-structured threads are used both inside and outside, protecting the membrane from low temperatures and abrasion. These threads also create an additional insulating air layer on the inner side of the WindBlock clothing, eliminating the characteristic rustling during movement.
