Classic No 3 Knife (ID 1-0003) of Morakniv®. The traditional Mora knife in its purest form, used by generations of carpenters and craftsmen. NZ-CL3-CS-25
This is the traditional Mora knife in its purest form, used by generations of carpenters and craftsmen. We understand why and believe that our classic red knife serves a practical as well as esoteric function. Quite simply, a real Mora knife!
This knife has been developed and improved over more than century, and has been used by generations of carpenters and craftsmen. Users often explain that they like the knives because they are good to work with and feel right. The red wooden handle is made of painted birch wood. The blade is made of carbon steel, making it easy to re-sharpen. Remember though this it needs to be maintained so wipe the blade and oil it after usage.
This knife is designed and intended for Scandinavian construction workers. Here, our priority is a sharp and durable edge with a good grip, which means that the look of the spine isn’t a high priority feature. You are more than welcome to use any of our knives for your intended needs, but keep in mind that the spine will be “raw” (not grinded) on most craftsmen and construction knives. Therefore, it’s not compatible with a fire starter.
