The Sturm Gen.II vest by M-Tac is made from durable Cordura 500D material, resistant to wear and heavy loads. It differs from the model used by soldiers. In this version, M-Tac designers equipped the cummerbund with 2M ROC Buckle quick-release buckles, allowing for fast detachment. The vest is compatible with standard ESAPI ballistic plates (USA) in sizes Medium (31.8 x 24.1 cm), Large (33.7 x 26 cm), and Extra Large (35.5 x 28 cm). Thanks to internal elastic and special straps, it can be easily adjusted to fit the required plate size. An extended cummerbund with a Molle interface on 4 straps allows for the attachment of additional equipment, such as horizontal first aid kits or pouches. The main design feature of this new M-Tac solution is the special shape of the ballistic vest cover, which, combined with appropriate ballistic inserts, provides maximum protection against fragmentation. In this generation, the vest is equipped with an integral Molle panel made using Laser Cut technology, facilitating the attachment of various accessories such as covers, holsters, first aid kits, organizers, and other equipment items. At the top of the vest cover, there is a small administrative pocket with a waterproof AquaGuard zipper, ideal for storing personal ID, cards, firearm permits, and similar-sized items. The velcro panel with openings allows for attaching favorite patches and equipment compatible with the Molle system. The back of the product is equipped with a classic MOLLE interface, including a reinforced evacuation strap according to military recommendations. Internally, on the chest and back surfaces, designers have incorporated 3D mesh inserts and special cushioning pads, ensuring excellent air circulation. The Sturm Gen.II vest can be used in its basic version or enhanced with additional modules, thereby increasing blast protection coverage. When combined with other equipment, it enables the creation of modern, modular systems for individual combatant protection.
